Dr. Robert Coop leads the Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning team within the Digital Accelerator group at Stanley Black & Decker. He has been working with machine learning techniques for the past 10 years and has spent the majority of this time practicing data science and leading teams within an enterprise environment.
Robert also currently teaches the Georgia Tech Data Science and Analytics Boot Camp as part of the Georgia Tech Professional Education Program. In 2013, Robert earned a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from the University of Tennessee, where he focused on neural network architectures, training algorithms, and ensemble techniques.
