Travel & Transportation

Access to Sandy Springs is provided by two major highways that intersect within the city, Georgia 400 and Interstate 285. There are also four MARTA (Metro Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority) rapid rail stations throughout the area. A number of options for alternative transportation services are available as well.

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (IATA code ATL) is just 23 miles from Sandy Springs. The Rental Car Center (RCC) at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is a one-stop facility that houses 12 rental car brands and vehicles for ATL guests. Operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week, the RCC is just a few minutes away from ATL via the SkyTrain, an electric-powered automated people mover system that connects the Rental Car Center to additional parking and the Airport.

Once in Sandy Springs, transportation to the venue is easiest by car. The venue has ample parking, and we are working with them to provide parking validation. This section will be updated soon with parking validation information.

There is an underground public parking deck with 750 parking spaces. We recommend parking in the East Parking Garage, as it is closest to the Performing Arts Center.
